When drawing up the HACCP implementation plan, the analysis of critical check points is vital for every critical point:

  • accepting delivery of raw materials
  • storage
  • preparation
  • conservation
  • cooking
  • cooling
  • administering
  • transporting
  • etc.

and requires regular, random, temperature checks.

The Veerbo Srl FoodController is an innovative tool which allows for extremely accurate temperature monitoring of any type of food product. The data obtained is recorded according to:

time and date
name of product
(selected from a large list which can be customised)
name of critical point (cold storage, removal from oven, administering and so forth, also from a list which can be customised).

FoodController is a portable instrument; the size of a mobile phone, which can:

  • use a range of temperature detection sensors (PT100; for measuring surface temperatures, the heat in the middle of a product, the temperature of liquids, and other)
  • store up to 2,000 readings before information needs to be downloaded
  • visualize and print information stored on it from your computer
  • be recharged and, on request, transfer recorded data using a personal docking station (through a GSM SIM card integrated into the docking station).

FoodController enables you to store the history of monitored temperature data on your computer in order to carry out a detailed analysis of the critical points.
